AutoCAD Designer/Drafter

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed drawings: Using AutoCAD software to produce 2D and 3D models and drawings for steel structures, including fabrication and erection plans.
• Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Revising drawings: Updating and modifying drawings based on feedback, redlines, and design changes.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance: Verifying that drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project guidelines.
• Maintaining project documentation: Organizing and managing drawing files, material lists, and other project-related documents.
• Preparing for fabrication: Generating fabrication drawings and bills of material for the manufacturing process.
• Coordinating with teams: Communicating with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
• Staying updated: Keeping abreast of the latest AutoCAD software updates, industry standards, and best practices.
