AutoCAD Designer/Drafter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and be proficient in various CAD software applications. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of innovative designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed CAD drawings and schematics for various projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and NavisWorks to produce high-quality drafts.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by reviewing designs for compliance with project standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports related to design projects.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and NavisWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Ability to create detailed schematics and drafts that meet project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
