Job Title: AutoCAD Designer – Electrical Manufacturing Unit Location: Sector-37D, Gurgaon Department: Design Reports to: Design Head Experience: 2–3 Years (preferred in electrical panel design or electrical equipment manufacturing) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our electrical manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings related to electrical panels, switchboards, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and other related designs as per industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for electrical panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, Synchronization panels, etc.). Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) , General Arrangement (GA) drawings , Wiring Diagrams , and Control Circuit Diagrams . Coordinate with the production and engineering team to implement design changes and correct discrepancies . Maintain drawing documentation , version control, and drawing logs as per company standards. Ensure designs comply with IS/IEC standards and client specifications. Support the team with technical drawing inputs during manufacturing and quality checks. Collaborate with the procurement team by providing accurate bill of materials (BOM). Visit sites (if required) for design validation and measurements. Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and knowledge of 3D tools (SolidWorks / Inventor – optional). Experience in designing LT/HT electrical panels or working in an electrical manufacturing setup is preferred. Knowledge of panel component placements , cable scheduling , and control logic understanding . Ability to read and interpret technical documents , specifications , and electrical standards . Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills . Good communication and team collaboration skills . Preferred Skills: Knowledge of electrical load calculation and panel heat dissipation . Familiarity with industrial safety standards and panel certification processes .
