AutoCAD Designer

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with strong experience in packaging design and development. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in creating dielines, moulds, and prototypes for rigid boxes, corrugation boxes, and SBS cartons. Key Responsibilities Create accurate dielines for rigid boxes, corrugated boxes, and SBS/mono cartons. Develop mould designs for rigid box forming, assembly, and taping machines. Coordinate with die makers and sample-making teams for precision and feasibility. Interact with clients to understand packaging requirements and suggest suitable design solutions. Work closely with the design and production teams to convert creative ideas into functional structures. Suggest and develop new packaging concepts that enhance both design and efficiency. Maintain standard dieline templates and ensure timely delivery of design outputs. Ensure compatibility of designs with production and finishing machines. Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum 5 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry. Strong command of AutoCAD (mandatory). Thorough knowledge of rigid box, corrugation, and mono carton structures. Familiar with die-making processes, materials (SBS, greyboard, duplex, kraft, corrugated sheets). Experience in designing moulds and jigs for rigid box forming machines. Strong visualization skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate with clients, vendors, and production teams effectively. Proactive, creative, and professional in approach.
