Job Description

Job Summary

The Audit Assistant supports the audit team in executing statutory, internal, and tax audits. The role includes reviewing financial statements, verifying documents, preparing working papers, and ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Audit Execution

Assist in planning and performing statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and special audits.
Collect, verify, and analyze financial data and supporting documents.
Perform vouching, ledger scrutiny, and verification of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Conduct stock audits, cash audits, and physical verification where required.
Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and documentation as per firm standards.

2. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS) and Auditing Standards (SA).
Assist in preparation of Tax Audit reports (Form 3CD) and other compliance-related annexures.
Maintain proper documentation for audit trails and observations.

3. Client Coordination

Communicate with clients to collect required data, documents, and clarifications.
Maintain professional relationships and ensure timely responses to queries.

4. Reporting

Assist Senior Auditors in preparing audit findings, reports, and management letters.
Highlight discrepancies, control weaknesses, or risks identified during audits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
