Job Description

Job Responsibilities – Assistant Purchase Manager

  • Assist the Purchase Manager in planning, sourcing, and procuring materials and services.
  • Identify reliable vendors, compare quotations, and negotiate prices and delivery terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods as per requirements.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
  • Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and company specifications.
  • Follow company purchasing policies and cost-control procedures.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and performance reviews.
  • Support audits and reporting related to procurement activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
