Asst. Manager - R & D (FTTH)

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – R&D (FTTH Planning) will be responsible for supporting the planning, development, and optimization of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks. The role involves conducting research on new technologies, evaluating current infrastructure capabilities, and assisting in the design and implementation of efficient, scalable fiber networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and design of FTTH network architecture.
• Conduct feasibility studies, route surveys, and demand analysis for new and existing areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop fiber rollout strategies.
• Support in the evaluation and implementation of new tools, technologies, and methodologies for network planning and optimization.
• Monitor and analyze network performance data to recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment and network deployment.
• Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices in fiber network technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in FTTH or telecom network planning, design, or R&D.
• Understanding of fiber optic technologies, GPON/NG-PON, and passive/active network components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
