Asst Manager-Procurement (SI or Digital Infrastructure)

As a Procurement Assistant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that are in line with the company's objectives. Your responsibilities will include sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring vendor performance to maintain strong supplier relationships. It will be essential for you to ensure the timely and accurate procurement of materials and services as per project or operational requirements. Collaboration with internal departments to understand material requirements and timelines will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders and documents according to company policies and procedures. Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness will also be part of your duties. Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply risk reduction will be crucial to your success in this role. Maintaining procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, and pricing history, while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies throughout the procurement process is of utmost importance. Additionally, you will assist in managing inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams. Your support will be required for internal and external audits related to procurement activities. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a SI or Digital Infrastructure company.
