Job Description

Job Summary:

Assistant Manager Export (West Africa)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow business across
West African countries
by developing strong distributor and customer relationships.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partners in the region.
Handle end-to-end
export documentation
, order processing, shipment coordination, and payment follow-ups.
Prepare and analyze
sales forecasts
, market intelligence reports, and competitor activity in West Africa.
Ensure compliance with
export regulations, LC documentation, and trade policies
of the target markets.
Coordinate with internal teams logistics, finance, production, and marketing to ensure timely execution of export orders.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and international business events relevant to the West African market.
Monitor pricing, margins, and credit control for assigned countries.
Achieve regional sales and collection targets as defined by the management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
West African markets
(preferably experience in Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, etc.)
Knowledge of
export documentation, logistics, and incoterms
Excellent
communication and negotiation skills
Strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in
MS Office
and ERP systems
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
