Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee the accounting, finance, and taxation functions of the company with a focus on regulatory compliance, financial control, and timely reporting. The role demands in-depth understanding of real estate financials, project accounting, taxation (Direct & Indirect), and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  
• Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with Ind AS.
  
• Ensure accurate project-wise accounting and cost control.
  
• Handle inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation of group entities (if applicable).
  
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit completion.
  

Finance & Treasury:

• Prepare cash flow statements, fund flow, and working capital management reports.
  
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for real estate projects.
  
• Coordinate with banks for project funding, overdrafts, and loan documentation.
  
• Monitor project ROI, IRR, and financial viability metrics.
  

Taxation & Compliance:

• Handle all statutory compliances including:
  
• GST: Monthly filings, reconciliations, input credit tracking, audits.
  
• TDS/TCS: Deductions, payments, returns, and 26AS reconciliation.
  
• Income Tax: Advance tax, return filing, assessments, etc.
  
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance under RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority).
  
• Liaise with tax consultants, government authorities, and legal advisors on tax matters.
  
• Ensure timely filing of ROC, PF, ESI, and other statutory dues as applicable.
  

MIS & Analysis:

• Prepare and present periodic financial MIS reports to management.
  
• Analyze variances between actuals and budgets.
  
• Provide cost-benefit analysis for procurement, contracts, and vendor payments.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualifications: CA
  
• Experience: 7-12 years in accounting and finance, preferably in the residential real estate sector
  
• Strong knowledge of:
  
• Real estate accounting and project costing
  
• Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, and RERA regulations
  
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP systems)
  
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and team management skills
