Outcomes (12–18 months)
1. Build an investor-ready finance engine: Deliver accurate, forward-looking insights through
rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and SaaS metrics dashboards.

• Partner with GTM teams on pricing, pipeline quality, and revenue performance; identify levers
for margin expansion.
• Own board reporting: monthly SaaS scorecard, KPI bridges (ARR, GM, EBITDA, Cash), and
investment narrative.
• Support CEO and Board on capital allocation, growth investments, and valuation modeling.
Controllership & Compliance

Revenue Operations & Collections
• Govern pricing, discounting, and commissions; align bookings, billings, and cash.
• Monitor deferred revenue, receivables aging, and implement proactive collection drives.
• Partner with Sales/CS to reduce DSO and improve cash conversion.
M&A Readiness & Investor Engagement
• Maintain an always-ready data room—organized, current, and diligence-proof.
• Lead diligence preparation sprints—financial normalization, KPI validation, variance bridge,
and red-flag resolution.
• Support investor/buyer modeling with normalized P&Ls, cohort data, and synergy assessments.
• Act as the financial storyteller for investors, highlighting growth levers and de-risking narrative.
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring capability growth and ownership
mindset.
• Establish policies, controls, and approval workflows across procurement, expenses, and credit
notes.
• Build a culture of financial transparency and strategic partnership with other business units.
• Groom and position yourself as the next-generation CFO, capable of managing investor
relationships and capital strategy.
Candidate Profile
• 10–15 years total experience, with at least 5+ years in SaaS/Software finance leadership roles.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA-Finance from a top institution.
• Proven experience managing FP&A, controllership, and audit in a high-growth environment.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue operations, and B2B subscription economics.

• Strong communication and executive presence—able to influence board discussions and cross-
functional leaders.
• Ambitious, detail-driven, and motivated to evolve into a CFO role within 2–3 years.
