Job Description

As the Asst/Deputy Manager, Quality at our company, your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality management for incoming materials, process, and finished goods. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring proper understanding of customer requirements and establishing system processes to adhere to them. - Adhering to Quality Management systems and processes according to Global/Regional guidelines. - Regularly reviewing standards, systems, and procedures to align with customer specifications and Company QM systems. - Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality. - Using a data-centric approach to identify and mitigate the Cost of Poor quality. - Ensuring manufacturing processes comply with established QM standards at the national and international levels. - Conducting quality checks for incoming materials as per Quality inspection plans, including sampling in-process and final inspection. - Documenting and issuing test certificates for final products before packaging and dispatch. - Conducting regular process audits and ensuring timely closure of observations. - Proactively initiating corrective actions with suppliers on quality-related aspects, including documentation of necessary approvals at the receipt stage. - Holding/rejecting material or stopping further processing if it does not conform to specifications. - Championing SPC studies and deriving process decisions. - Handling customer complaints through 8D, Root Cause, and Countermeasure processes. - Undertaking projects to enhance product and process quality. - Controlling understanding of Customer Specific Requirements and facilitating feasibility studies during new product developments. - Owning the responsibility for certifications such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and any other customer-specific certifications. - Setting yearly targets for Quality KPIs with strong year-on-year improvement plans. - Collaborating with global functions and plants to leverage the company's global scale and best practices. Qualifications required for this position include: - Graduate Engineer/Science with a PG diploma in Quality Management systems and Six Sigma Certification. - 10-12 years of experience in auto ancillary manufacturing or tool manufacturing companies leading the Quality function. - Industry experience in Auto Ancillary, Tool manufacturing, or Ball manufacturing is preferred. Your skills should include: - Proficiency in the English language with good oral and written communication skills. - Problem-solving, analysis, leadership, quality control, and Six Sigma skills. - Good knowledge and work experience in Continuous Improvement, Quality standards ISO 9001 & IATF 16949, IATF 16949 core tools, and methods. - Familiarity with Product Audit, Quality Assurance audits, Customers system, Process/Product audits.,
