Job Description

Company Overview:

Battery Smart is India's largest and fastest-growing Battery Swapping Network for electric two and three-wheelers. Launched in June 2020, we aim to revolutionize the EV sector by making electric mobility simple, economical, and accessible through a unique partner-led model.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate books of accounts.

Perform reconciliations across Bank Accounts, Payment Gateways, General Ledger, and System Reports.

Ensure timely and accurate vendor/customer reconciliations.

Prepare and post necessary accounting entries including provisions, accruals, and adjustments.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Support in audits by providing required data and reconciliations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Strong proficiency in Reconciliations (Bank, Gateways, GL, and System Reports).

Solid understanding of Accounting Principles & Practices.

Working knowledge of TDS & GST.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems.

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.

Must- Have Attributes:

Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Proactive attitude with accountability for assigned tasks.
