Associate Technical Lead

Role Overview: As an Associate Technical Lead at IDeaS in the Software Development department located in Pune, you will be participating in the design and development of a multi-user, multi-tenant analytics-centric application using Java EE and state-of-the-art technologies. Your role will involve analyzing business and system requirements, designing innovative solutions, and supporting new and existing software to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze the business and system requirements in collaboration with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders. - Design and develop innovative solutions to meet business requirements. - Support new and existing software, working closely with technical support and customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, or computer science. - Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing high scalability applications using Java Technology. - Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles. - Experience in following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and knowledge of Test Pyramid. - Understanding of data management, Enterprise Integration Pattern, and protocols such as SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, and REST. - Proficiency in at least two programming languages with different paradigms. - In-depth understanding of OOP concepts, design principles, and patterns. - Familiarity with Agile/Collaborative Development practices, pair programming, code smell identification, and refactoring techniques. - Ability to mentor and groom the team on technical aspects. - Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, and self-driven worker. Additional Details: The back-end technology stack includes EJB3, JPA, Hibernate, Spring, Spring-batch, Spring IO, JMS, JAXB, REST, Web Services, PL/SQL, Java 1.8. Application/Database servers include JBOSS, Tomcat, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB. Development practices and tools encompass Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Code Coverage tools (Cobertura, JUNIT), TDD, MAVEN, ANT, SVN, CVS, GIT, GERRIT. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in a continuous build environment, and familiarity with SQL query tuning.
