Job Summary

Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator Location: Pune/Bangalore Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with 7 10 years of hands on experience in Basis administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SAP environments, particularly with SAP S/4, Solman, BTP, Azure, and SAP Web applications. This role requires expertise in supporting S/4 applications, resolving critical issues, and managing a 24/7 delivery unit. Responsibilities Provide SAP Basis support and manage projects effectively. Handle P1 and P2 incidents related to BASIS administration. Administer and support database systems, specifically HANA and Sybase. Perform system upgrades, add on installations, and manage SSL certificates. Analyze and execute technical activities such as system refreshes, client copies, parameter changes, job management, and RFCs. Oversee managed service delivery models and ensure operational excellence. Manage operations within a 24/7 support framework, ensuring adherence to SLA/KPI tracking. De escalate IT incidents and requests effectively. Coordinate multiple activities across teams to ensure seamless operations. Collaborate with global teams to provide round the clock support. Mandatory Skills 5 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Strong working experience with SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Distribution, Solman, BTP, Azure IaaS, and SAP NetWeaver. Expertise in supporting S/4 applications and resolving issues related to memory management and performance. Experience in database administration, specifically SAP HANA Basis and Sybase DBA. Proven experience in system upgrades, add on installations, and SSL certificate management. Ability to handle P1 and P2 incidents effectively. Experience in managing operations and 24/7 delivery units. Understanding of SLA, KPI & Metrics Management. Experience in de escalation of IT incidents and requests. Preferred Skills Prior experience in ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services) is an advantage. Familiarity with managed service delivery models. Experience working in a global team environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant SAP certifications are a plus. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
