Job Description

We are looking for a Associate Server Engineer to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Linux OS installation in Servers, RAID Configuration, Partitioning etcServer Monitoring and working on critical Data BackupTroubleshooting issues with software installations in command line environmentProvide solutions to technical issues from internal business unitsTroubleshoot issues with Hardware and Software both Desktop and Server levelInstall, configure and troubleshoot services like MySql,cPanel, Plesk, etcCo-ordinating with external vendors (Hardware, Security vendors like SiteLock, Imunify360 etc)Scheduling Cron JobsTroubleshooting basic network level issuesAddressing Incident and change management requestsAbility to work on flexible schedules including night shifts and weekendsDocumenting configuration standards, troubleshooting steps

Required Skills

Knowledge in Linux OSScripting SkillsUnderstanding of Networking and Internet ProtocolsBasic knowledge in DevOps and ContainerizationBasic understanding of VirtualizationBasic understanding of Security and RecoveryBasic knowledge in Web Services and DatabaseStrong problem solving skillsWillingness to learn new technologies and get certifiedExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English)Education : B tech / BERHCE/ AWS / CCNA course completion required.
