About The Role
As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in the software development lifecycle, ensuring that product quality meets business and customer expectations. You will design, implement, and execute testing processes, helping to build a reliable and high-quality software product.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, and Pytest.
- Perform regression testing, retesting of bug fixes, and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development for resolution.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on critical defects and drive initiatives to improve testing coverage.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging automation technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA with expertise in test automation.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium, TestNG, Pytest, and JUnit.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
