Associate, Relationship Manager, Institutional Liabilities

Role Overview: The Corporate and Investment Banking division at DBS offers corporate clients a range of commercial banking products and services, such as cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange facilities. DBS has built enduring relationships with clients in the region by focusing on personalized account management, service excellence, innovative products, and stringent credit standards. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and acquire new-to-bank (NTB) clients and manage relationships with both new-to-bank and existing-to-bank (ETB) clients, specifically mid to large-sized companies. - Drive liabilities sales by onboarding NTB clients for various banking products and maintain an average quarterly balance target of INR 2 crore per account. - Originate new business from segments like multinational corporations (MNCs), global capability centers (GCCs), IT/ITES firms, educational institutions, and more. - Explore opportunities in custody offerings, alternative investment funds (AIFs), foreign portfolio investors (FPIs), and build relationships with market intermediaries. - Collaborate with regional teams to enhance cross-referral leads, leverage the bank's international network, and support in implementing the liabilities strategy. Qualifications Required: - Sound understanding of transaction banking products, technology platforms, operational processes, regulatory guidelines, and KYC requirements. - Knowledge of financial markets and products to engage in meaningful discussions with clients.
