Associate, Real Estate

You will be responsible for providing investment underwriting, financial analysis, and transactional due diligence support for potential real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of presentations for the Investment Committee. Your key duties and responsibilities will include running a comprehensive investment underwriting process, creating detailed financial models using Excel and Argus, making market assumptions, and conducting analyses to support investment opportunities. You will also assist in preparing investment presentations for the Investment Committee, conducting ad-hoc analysis and industry-related research, managing transactional due diligence processes, and liaising with counterparties. Collaborating with various departments such as legal, accounting, leasing, development, finance, and property management to gather, interpret, and share information for potential investments will be part of your role. You may also be required to provide additional support to the Investments team as necessary. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related technical field. Ideally, you will have 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate finance, asset management, or investment sales, or a background in investment banking or management consulting. Proficiency with Argus is essential for this role. Strong financial modeling skills, with expertise in commercial real estate transactions and a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, will be advantageous. Being organized, task-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines while adapting to changing priorities is crucial. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. Experience in analyzing financial statements, leases, and related documents for forecasting, underwriting, and assessing tenant credit quality is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Argus is highly desired.,
