Associate Quality Engineer

As an Associate Quality Engineer at Altera, you will play a crucial role in developing testing solutions for various applications across Web, Windows, API, and Services platforms. Your focus will be on designing effective data validation strategies to accelerate product time-to-market without compromising on quality. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining automated test scripts, conducting tests to identify defects, developing test cases based on requirements, and tracking bugs using tools like TFS. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure software development aligns with functional and nonfunctional requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts - Conduct tests on software applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards - Develop test cases and scripts based on requirements - Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools - Perform regression tests to ensure software performance after changes - Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle - Contribute to improving QA processes, methodologies, and tools - Write and maintain technical documentation related to testing procedures - Provide clear feedback on defects and test results to the development team - Provide demos to product owners during acceptance testing phases Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar field - Experience with UI, API, and Interface automation scripting using tools like Ranorex or Selenium - Good OOPS and Programming knowledge (C# - Good to have) - Manual testing experience - Understanding of Manual and Automation test processes - Knowledge of Defect management tools like TFS/MTM - Involvement in automation test scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting - Ability to troubleshoot automation scripting issues - Experience in designing test cases for Web and Desktop Applications - Knowledge of Agile framework - Excellent analytical thinking and systematic approach Additional Details: Altera, a member of the N.
