Associate Quality Control

Role Overview: As an Associate Quality Control at Sterlite Electric, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production activities in the mill to ensure the production of high-quality standard products with a high prime yield, meeting customer satisfaction, and achieving production schedules aligned with the marketing department's needs. Your role will involve optimizing resources, maintaining safety and quality standards, minimizing downtime through timely planning for pass changes, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Strictly conduct tests as per standard test methods - Ensure technical validity of results - Control and oversee SPTL-LABs activities - Manage calibration of test equipment, standards, and reference materials - Supervise preventive maintenance of test equipment and apparatus - Estimate uncertainty in measurement - Control test data and ensure accuracy - Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys and analysis - Participate in inter-lab comparison and proficiency testing - Maintain confidentiality of customer information and proprietary rights - Perform cross checks, quality control checks, and repeatability tests - Initiate corrective actions in case of nonconforming test work or undesirable situations Qualifications Required: - Ability to travel as and when required About the Company: Sterlite Electric is India's leading integrated power transmission developer and solutions provider, dedicated to addressing complex challenges in the sector by overcoming constraints of time, space, and capital.
