???? Position Overview
The Associate Professor – HMCT (Front Office) will play a key role in teaching, research, and professional development within the field of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Front Office Operations while contributing to other core hospitality areas such as Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Food Production.

???? Key Responsibilities
???????? Academic Responsibilities
 ????️ Deliver lectures and practical sessions primarily in Front Office Operations and related hospitality subjects.
 ???? Contribute to curriculum design, syllabus updates, and pedagogical innovation.
 ???? Guide students in internships, projects, and research work.
 ???? Ensure excellence in classroom and lab-based teaching through modern, industry-relevant techniques.
???? Research & Professional Development
 ???? Conduct and publish research in reputed hospitality and management journals.
 ???? Participate in conferences, seminars, and faculty development programs.
 ???? Engage with hospitality professionals for research collaboration and consultancy.

???? Administrative & Institutional Duties
 ???? Support academic coordination, examinations, and accreditation activities (NAAC, NBA, AICTE).
 ???? Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
 ???? Contribute to organizing workshops, student events, and hospitality training programs.
???? Industry & Student Engagement
 ???? Establish strong linkages with hotels, resorts, and hospitality organizations for training and placements.
 ???? Mentor students on career development and soft skills.
 ???????? Encourage experiential learning through demonstrations and hotel visits.

???? Qualifications & Experience
 ???? Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Catering Technology / Hospitality Management or equivalent.
 ???? Minimum 8 years of teaching / industry / research experience in hospitality or allied fields.
 ???? Desirable: NET/SET qualification or Ph.D. (as per UGC/AICTE norms).
  • Essential: Proven expertise and teaching experience in Front Office Operations.
