Role Overview: As an Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture Sciences at GLA University, Mathura, your role will involve contributing to academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement. You will be expected to meet UGC norms and qualifications for appointment at the Associate Professor level. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-impact lectures and conduct hands-on practical sessions. - Supervise postgraduate and doctoral research scholars. - Drive independent and collaborative research projects in relevant agricultural disciplines. - Publish in high-quality journals (UGC-CARE, Scopus, SCI-indexed). - Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and accreditation processes. - Actively participate in departmental and university initiatives. Qualification Required: - Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. - Masters degree in Agriculture or a related field from a recognized Indian or foreign university, with a strong academic record. - Specializations preferred in areas such as Entomology, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, and Agricultural Extension. - Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience post Ph.D. - A strong research portfolio with publications in peer-reviewed SCI/Scopus-indexed (non-paid) journals. - At least 7 quality publications in UGC-listed journals. - A total research score as per UGC regulations.,
