This role involves building and maintaining complex web applications that handle automated case assignment, research validation workflows, and real-time API integrations supporting thousands of daily transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development:Develop and maintain .NET MVC web applications for Research Agent, Research Checker, and Voice Agent workflowsImplement automated case assignment logic using FIFO methodology based on Code02 EndDateTimeBuild responsive user interfaces for case management, progress tracking, and agent dashboardsCreate secure API endpoints for real-time case updates and third-party integrationsDatabase Development:Design and optimize SQL Server database schemas for case management, agent assignments, and workflow trackingDevelop stored procedures for complex business logic including eligibility checks and priority calculationsImplement database triggers and constraints to maintain data integrity across workflow transitionsCreate efficient queries for case retrieval, reporting, and performance monitoringAPI Integration & Development:Develop RESTful APIs for Publisher API integration and real-time case status updatesImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for multi-tier accessBuild API endpoints for mobile and desktop agent applicationsCreate integration points with FedEx's existing package tracking and customer management systemsWorkflow Implementation:Code business logic for automated case routing between Research, Checker, and Voice Agent tiersImplement time-based processing rules (8:15 PM cutoffs, 30-minute auto-expiration logic)Develop escalation mechanisms and priority-based case assignment algorithmsBuild progress indicators and real-time status tracking functionalityQuality Assurance:Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for all developed componentsParticipate in code reviews and maintain coding standards documentationDebug and resolve complex issues across the application stackSupport UAT activities and assist with production deploymentsRequired Technical SkillsCore Technologies:ASP.NET MVC 5/Core: 4+ years of hands-on experience developing web applicationsC#: Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, LINQ, and async/await patternsSQL Server: Expert-level skills in T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimizationEntity Framework: Experience with Code First approach, migrations, and complex relationship mappingWeb APIs: RESTful API development, JSON serialization, and HTTP protocolsFrontend Technologies:HTML5/CSS3: Modern web standards and responsive design principlesJavaScript/jQuery: Client-side scripting, AJAX calls, and DOM manipulationBootstrap: UI framework for responsive web designAdditional Technical Requirements:Version Control: Git/TFS experience with branching and merging strategiesDatabase Design: Normalization, indexing strategies, and performance tuningAuthentication: Forms authentication, claims-based security, and role-based access controlLogging & Monitoring: Experience with logging frameworks (NLog, Serilog) and application monitoring
