We are currently seeking a dynamic technical expert in personal care formulations to join our organization and lead technical sales and business development activities for Hair Care in the Indian sub-continent. Reporting to the Sector Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing new business pipelines to enhance Croda's presence in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Chemistry or Cosmetic Technology and have demonstrated experience in formulation development or technical sales within the personal care industry. Additionally, the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Research, and Marketing teams to introduce products is essential. Strong teamwork, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are also key attributes we are looking for. As part of your responsibilities, you will manage and expand the existing business in the Skin Care category within the Personal Care segment. This includes identifying potential sales opportunities, following up on leads and sample requests, and implementing short and long-term plans for product promotions and sales in alignment with marketing policies. Your role will involve maintaining a project pipeline and providing prompt business activity reports in the Indian subcontinent, driving new business development, promoting new products, and delivering product presentations with a focus on market applications. You will visit customers to explain, promote, and recommend Croda products, offering technical support as needed. Collaborating with various functions, particularly sales, technical, and regulatory teams, to ensure all requirements from lead identification to project commercialization are met. Staying updated on market competition and technological advancements is crucial, along with resolving customer requests related to technical and new product development. Your involvement in promoting new and existing products through exhibitions, seminars, digital initiatives, and marketing projects directed by sales management will be essential. This role operates without direct line responsibility and involves frequent coordination with the global team to align strategies for MNC accounts and overall business in India.
