Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the procurement ensuring

adherence to quantity and margin targets. Implement strategies to optimize operational efficiencies.

Analyse procurement margins, identify areas for improvement, to enhance profitability while

maintaining competitive pricing for FPOs.

2. Issue Resolution: Proactively address operational issues and challenges as they arise, collaborating

with Branch and other DHQ teams to swiftly resolve any bottlenecks or discrepancies in the maars

procurement process.

3. Digital Platform: Contribute to the development and enhancement of digital platform for maars

procurement, leveraging technology to streamline processes. Work towards building a Phygital

platform which connects commodity suppliers with buyers.

4. Innovation and Idea Implementation: Contribute to the identification and evaluation of new ideas

and initiatives to aid maars procurement operations.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments and branch teams to

foster strong relationships and alignment with maars procurement objectives and strategies.

6. Data Analysis: Conduct regular data analysis to assess the effectiveness of procurement operations.

Utilize insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.

7. System and Process: Contribute to system and process related to maars output operations.

8. Plan & Targets working: Thorough workings on annual and periodic plan and targets working

through detailed analysis

9. Training & Development: Making digital & physical training modules on ITCMAARS procurement

for FPOs & Field team.

Qualifications and Skills

- MBA/ PGDM from premier Rural Management/ Agri Business Management institutions.

- Experience in commodity sourcing/ rural operations or supply chain, preferably having worked on

some sort of platform model (may be a combination of tech & physical)

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data

- Good command over MS-Excel, Power-point & Word

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with different

stakeholders

- Familiarity in digital tools, with a keen interest in leveraging technology in operations

- Attitude of operational rigour and driving execution.
