Job Title: Associate Manager - Plant Technology

Department/Function:

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for Develop and control the plant specific process spec, machine setup spec, in-process standards & inspection standards. Initiate, validate and control the process changes. Lead the process and product quality improvements. Industrialize new equipment’s.
Authorize disposition of non-conforming in-process materials. Enhance knowledge to manufacturing through technical, product quality training.

Major Responsibilities:

• Identify the potential area of improvement related to product and process and lead the team for completion.
• Establishment the process in new machines, validation and periodic revalidations. [n1]
• Ensure the indoor testing adherence as per BIS requirements.
• Develop and control production tooling (Die’s and grooved roll).
• Provide technical , product quality training to manufacturing team members and development of subordinates.
• Ensure the quality of in-process and raw materials
• To ensure correctness of specifications and standards
• To maintain 5s in die shop & Lab
• Ensure safe working environment

Knowledge (Technical / Functional):

Strong knowledge in Rubber technology, Extrusion, Calendaring and Quality systems

Skills:
Leadership quality. Communication and Presentation skills. Analytical and Trouble shooting Skills. Planning skills. Interpersonal skills.

Relevant Experience: 8 - 10 Years
Education Qualification(s): Diploma/B.E in polymer technology Chemical Engineering.
