Job Description

Key Responsibilities: -

1. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

Perform routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of electronic systems on textile machines

(e.g. Circular & Warp Knitting, Fabric dyeing, finishing machines etc.)

Respond to and resolve electronic/electrical breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
Maintain and update documentation for all electronic maintenance activities.

2. Automation and Control Systems

Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, temperature controllers, and other automation

components.

Modify or upgrade existing automation systems to improve productivity and safety.
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for advanced troubleshooting or upgrades.

3. Project Execution & Machine Installation

Support installation and commissioning of new textile machinery from the electronic control

perspective.

Evaluate and recommend electronic system upgrades to improve operational efficiency.

4. Data Logging & Monitoring

Ensure all electronic instruments and monitoring devices (like energy meters,

temperature/pressure sensors) are properly calibrated and functional.

Assist in implementing SCADA or IoT-based monitoring solutions, where applicable.

5. Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and internal SOPs.
Conduct periodic checks to prevent electrical/electronic hazards.

Continuous learning attitude and team player.
Strong documentation and communication skills. KPIs / Performance Metrics: • Reduction in electrical & electronic breakdowns frequency. • Response time to breakdowns. • Preventive maintenance schedule adherence. • Uptime of critical electronic systems.
