Associate Manager

As an Associate Manager at Carrier Global Corporation, your role will involve leading the Refrigeration product development, platform development, architecture, scaling, deployment, and more. You will collaborate closely with global product managers, business teams, and other product engineering teams to ensure the delivery of products according to Carrier standards and agreed timelines. **Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate strong leadership skills in leading product engineering teams in Cloud and Web technologies - Previous experience in leading 20+ technical staff in Cloud and Web, with good knowledge in NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript, and AWS Cloud Native services - Exhibit strong project management and people leadership skills - Lead multiple software product teams and have hands-on experience in leading agile teams by working closely with global stakeholders in prioritizing features/epics, planning sprints, and running daily scrums - Responsible for estimating efforts and dependencies, providing technical solutions by understanding requirements, and collaborating with other technical team members - Possess solid team skills to understand team dynamics and challenges, ensuring effective issue resolution - Act as a technology champion/mentor, collaborating with others to effectively utilize new technology - Ensure a strong commitment to on-time, quality delivery of all projects and deliverables - Have at least 3 years of experience in practicing Agile/Scrum - Collaborate closely with onsite, offshore, and cross-functional teams, Product Management, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and SQA teams to effectively use technologies for building and delivering high-quality products - Proactively identify risks and failure modes early in the development lifecycle - Demonstrate self-drive, high motivation, organizational skills, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work on multiple projects in a team environment - Possess excellent communication and leadership skills **Basic Qualifications & Experience:** - 11+ years of experience, transitioning from a developer to a technical manager role - Hands-on experience is required - Possess a BE/B.Tech/M.TECH/MCA/MS degree in Computer Science or IT - Preference given to individuals who have worked as technical managers in IoT, Cloud, and Web technologies - Preference given to individuals certified as AWS Solution Architects At Carrier Global Corporation, we are dedicated to providing competitive benefits programs for all employees and enhancing programs when required.
