Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery to join our Healthcare Analytics team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross\-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, analyze complex datasets, and support project execution in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements aligned with business goals.

Develop comprehensive artifacts such as user stories, functional requirement documents (FRDs), and acceptance criteria.

Act as a proxy Product Owner within Agile teams to facilitate requirement discussions and sprint activities.

Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure shared understanding and smooth project delivery.

Use SQL and BigQuery to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating user sign\-off.

Collaborate with QA Analysts to create test cases based on business requirements and ensure completeness of validation.

Organize and facilitate UAT sessions and user training post\-implementation.

Maintain project documentation including status updates, requirement traceability, release notes, and roadmaps.

Ensure all deliverables reflect UST\core values: Humility, Humanity, and Integrity and adhere to compliance standards.

Requirements

Primary Skills:

SQL Expertise \Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries for validation and analytics.

Google BigQuery \Hands\-on experience with large\-scale data analysis, report generation, and dashboard integration.

Strong experience working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in data\-driven environments.

Deep understanding of healthcare data systems \especially claims, provider, and member data.

Proficiency in preparing high\-quality documentation: FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes.

Familiarity with Agile\/Scrum methodologies and ability to function as a liaison across business and technical teams.

Secondary Skills:

Exposure to data migration or data transformation projects.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem\-solving and communication skills.

Experience coordinating UAT and conducting user training sessions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Visio.

Good to Have Skills:

Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Experience working with source\-to\-target mappings and data lineage documentation.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects in the healthcare industry.
