Job Description

As a member of the Office of General Counsel team at Oaktree, your primary responsibilities will include: - **Business Management** - Supporting coordination of budgeting process and conducting research to reclass expense items unrelated to the division - Reviewing budget vs actuals data for all departments within the division - Assisting in headcount/resource management by maintaining organizational charts for all departments within the division - Supporting metric tracker and Chronos related activities for the relevant departments in the division - Assisting with other administration duties as required - **Operations** - Maintaining knowledge databases, including process and procedures documentation, for all departments within the division - Identifying project workflow improvements and working with functional leads and subject matter experts to implement changes - Maintaining and supporting systems such as a legal e-billing platform, eSubDocs platform, and contract lifecycle management platform used by the division - Supporting other operations management duties as needed - **Team Engagement** - Leading regular team meetings, including preparing an agenda and taking minutes - Supporting coordination and preparation of materials for the division all-hands meetings - Assisting in coordination and preparation of lunch and learn sessions for the division - Supporting other team engagement duties as needed Your experience should include: - 7+ years of relevant experience - Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint technology and content management systems - Experience and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio) required - Experience with PowerBI and Power apps is a plus - Experience with budgeting and financial analysis is a plus - Demonstrated effective analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues needing attention - Demonstrated track record of skillful communications and effective business writing and presentation skills As a successful candidate, you should demonstrate strengths in: - Attention to Detail; initiative, strong work ethic, and self-motivation - Relationship Building; effective teamwork with diverse groups - Communication; strong interpersonal and verbal/written skills - Independence & Collaboration; able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment - Work Ethic; continual development, performance, accountability, and self-motivation - Flexibility & Organization; adaptability, multi-tasking, and time management - Intellectual Curiosity; eager to learn and engage with various issues - Driving Results; setting aggressive objectives and driving issues to closure - Judgment; making decisions based on a sound fact base to achieve optimal outcomes Your education should include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
