Associate - Financial Planning and Analysis

You will be joining the team as an FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst in Gurgaon, India, where your primary role will involve conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support tailored to the operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting comprehensive financial analysis including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop accurate financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring actual performance against forecasts and budgets. - Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis using appropriate tools and methodologies. - Preparing and presenting financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. - Collaborating closely with Indian business units and functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide tailored analytical support. - Identifying opportunities to enhance financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or similar) is a plus. - 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related field. - Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel functions. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in India, strong communication and presentation skills tailored to the Indian context. - Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial analyses and reports. - Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend practical solutions in the Indian market context. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
