Job Description

As an Associate FP&A Manager at Ralph Lauren Corporation, your role will involve providing operating expense review, financial reporting, and business support to the APAC shared services center. You will be the finance partner to the regional teams, responsible for operating expense tracking, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, analysis & reporting, and capital asset management. Additionally, you will directly manage a small team of 1 to 2 analysts/sr. analysts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Independently handling the bottoms-up build of operating expense budgets/ Long-Range Plan aligned with corporate growth directive - Tracking and ensuring accuracy of corporate operating expenses through monthly forecast submission - Supporting the month-end financial close process by analyzing financial data, reviewing variances, preparing journal entries, and partnering with Corporate Accounting - Tracking expenditures and validating treatment as capital vs. expense in Capital Asset Management - Collaborating with business partners to remain informed of business plans, identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to mitigate - Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and implementing improvements - Preparing and presenting financial reports and materials to facilitate decision making - Assisting with ad-hoc initiatives/analysis to support business needs - Leading and mentoring the team Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; Masters/professional qualification is an added advantage - 10+ years of finance/accounting experience in operating expense management - Budgeting and forecasting experience, familiarity with accounting treatment of cloud computing arrangements is a plus - Experience with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase/SmartView, and proficient in Microsoft Excel - Effective communication and presentation skills, analytical, detail-oriented, and a strategic thinker - Organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, flexible to reprioritize based on deadlines and priorities - Self-motivated, works independently, strong work ethic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrates judgment, discretion, confidentiality, curiosity, and professional courtesy At Ralph Lauren, we foster a culture of inclusion through talent, education & communication, employee groups, and celebration, ensuring belonging, inclusion, and fairness for all.,
