Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Financial Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI dashboard creation, financial and accounting datasets, and data modeling using DAX queries . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, reporting, and financial insights generation, combined with advanced technical skills in data visualization and modeling. You will play a crucial role in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. Position Details: Position: Associate Financial Analyst Experience: 6 to 10 years Location: Pune, India Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/IT or MCA, with Power BI Certification Key Responsibilities: Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to provide actionable financial insights to various stakeholders. Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze and model complex financial and accounting datasets to support strategic business decisions and reporting requirements. DAX Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize DAX queries to ensure efficient data calculations, robust reporting, and high performance within Power BI. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other business units, to gather requirements, understand data nuances, and deliver tailored solutions. Data Quality & Consistency: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of financial data across all reports and dashboards. Performance Enhancement: Optimize data models to significantly enhance reporting performance and user experience. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices in data visualization, and advancements in financial analytics. Stakeholder Management: Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to align objectives and expectations, ensuring successful project delivery. Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain strong team cohesion and collaborative relationships. Effective Communication: Communicate complex financial insights and recommendations clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse technical and non-technical audiences. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, set realistic milestones, and manage deadlines to ensure the timely and successful delivery of reporting solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in financial data analysis and Power BI dashboard development. Power BI Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) . Financial Data Understanding: Strong understanding of financial and accounting datasets and comprehensive reporting requirements. Data Modeling Expertise: Proven expertise in data modeling techniques and performance optimization specifically within Power BI. Software Skills: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL databases. Analytical Aptitude: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Certification in Microsoft Power BI . Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google Big Query). ETL Tools: Experience with ETL processes and tools like Azure Data Factory. Finance Knowledge: Solid knowledge of finance principles and corporate accounting practices.
