Associate Finance Manager (Real Estate Accounting)

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will manage accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL) accounts, and prepare financial reports. Responsibilities include applying receipts to outstanding charges, analyzing AR aging, managing payments, addressing customer queries, and meeting daily operational goals.

Essential Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in:
• Accounts Receivable & Payable
• Budgeting
• General Ledger Accounting

• Exposure to

  Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)

  accounting

Organization Structure

• Reports to: Team Manager

Work Schedule

• Flexibility to work during afternoon and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Processing

• Apply daily receipts and post batches in the accounting system.
• Process invoice payments with accuracy and efficiency.

2. Reconciliations and Reporting

• Reconcile discrepancies by analyzing bank account details.
• Analyze GL accounts and prepare monthly accruals and reclassification journal entries.

3. Lease Management

• Perform lease abstraction and update data in client databases.
• Validate financial terms for lease setups.

4. Receivables Monitoring

• Manage AR aging activities and follow up with clients for resolutions.
• Create provisions and process write-offs based on client data.

5. Additional Accounting Duties

• Handle year-end reconciliations, expense budgeting, and taxation tasks.
