As an Associate Director, Procurement Media Category at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will be responsible for developing a robust global category strategy aligned with dynamic business outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing a global category strategy that is best in class, aligned with business needs, and delivers financial value. - Understanding and capturing business plans and budgets to ensure the category strategies meet business needs effectively. - Leveraging external supplier marketplace knowledge to curate solutions aligned with business outcome needs. - Engaging with other Category Strategy Partners to ensure alignment across categories and drive a holistic Commercial Procurement value proposition. - Leading major category initiatives within a multi-year plan to deliver strong financial efficiencies. - Developing implementation plans to activate strategies across regions, markets, and business units. - Continuously bringing external benchmarks, KPIs, and thought leadership to optimize category strategies. - Coordinating with Procurement operations teams to define buying channels, purchasing policies, and drive adherence to category strategies. - Executing supplier relationship management processes and driving supplier performance. Qualifications required for this role include: Minimum Requirements: - B.S./B.A. - Minimum of 8-10 years of business experience - Minimum of 5-7 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience, preferably in a multinational environment - Minimum of 2-3 years of Media Procurement experience Preferred Qualifications: - M.S./M.B.A. - Professional certifications (e.g. CPM, CPIM) - 3+ years Pharmaceutical Procurement experience - Membership in Professional Associations, e.g. ISM If you find this role intriguing and believe you have the potential to excel, even if your resume does not perfectly align, we encourage you to apply.
