Associate Director of Design

As a Design Programmes professional at Master's Union, you will be responsible for conceptualising, launching, and managing new design-focused programmes. Your role will involve strategic leadership in designing high-impact academic experiences, ensuring industry relevance, and driving global competitiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Design Programmes. - Collaborate with leadership to establish programme KPIs for admissions, student outcomes, placements, and brand positioning. - Maintain industry relevance and global competitiveness across all programme offerings. - Develop innovative curricula in UI/UX, Product Design, Interaction Design, and related fields. - Incorporate live projects, case studies, industry mentorship, and labs into the learning process. - Continuously update curriculum to reflect evolving trends and technologies in design. - Recruit leading design professionals as faculty, adjuncts, and mentors. - Establish partnerships with corporates, design studios, and creative agencies for projects, internships, and placements. - Enhance Master's Union's presence and reputation in the design ecosystem. Qualifications Required: - Professional degree in Design (UI/UX, Product Design, or related disciplines) from a reputable institution. - Minimum 6 years of professional experience with leadership roles in corporates or high-growth startups. - Proficiency in design strategy, product development, innovation, and team leadership. - Previous exposure to academia, programme design, or mentorship is advantageous. - Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership. - A strong passion for shaping the future of design education in India.
