Job Description

You are being hired as an Associate Director of Business Development for the APAC region at Zycus. Your primary responsibility will be to lead high-impact growth initiatives, oversee market strategy, partnership development, and revenue generation. You will drive regional growth while leading a team focused on scaling Zycus" SaaS procurement solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Regional Leadership:** Lead and develop a business development team dedicated to revenue growth across APAC. - **Strategy Execution:** Design and implement a business development strategy tailored to APAC's unique market landscape. - **Market Expansion:** Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in multiple APAC markets and industries. - **Strategic Partnerships:** Build and maintain alliances that enhance Zycus" regional footprint. - **Pipeline Oversight:** Manage and optimize the business development pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline health. - **Cross-functional Alignment:** Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies with the company's overall APAC objectives. - **Market Intelligence:** Monitor and analyze procurement trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights specific to APAC. - **Client Relations:** Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target markets. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years in business development or sales, with a proven track record in SaaS or enterprise software in APAC. Leadership experience of 5+ years is preferred. - **Procurement Knowledge:** Familiarity with procurement solutions and processes, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier management. - **APAC Expertise:** Deep understanding of APAC's business practices, cultural nuances, and market opportunities. - **Education:** Bachelors in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. - **Skills:** Proven team leadership, strategic negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
