Job Description

In this role as an Associate Design - Fit and Technical, your key responsibilities will include: - Tech Pack Creation & Specification Development: - Building measurement charts from design sketches, reference samples, or images. - Defining grade rules, tolerances, and construction details. - Pattern Engineering: - Collaborating on pattern development and adjustments across all menswear categories such as tees, hoodies, joggers, shirts, outerwear, and bottoms. - Providing fabric yield and consumption sheets. - Sample & Fit Management: - Leading proto, fit, size-set, and PPS sessions. - Documenting fit comments, mark-ups, and strike-offs. - Driving corrective actions with vendors until Gold Seal approval is achieved. - Fabric & Garment Testing: - Defining and interpreting FPT & GPT standards such as handle, shrinkage, pilling, colourfastness, and seam strength. - Coordinating with labs and mills for corrective actions. - Vendor Interface: - Guiding supplier pattern rooms to ensure adherence to brand fit blocks, tolerance levels, and performance standards. - Data & PLM Discipline: - Maintaining spec packs, pattern files, and test records in PLM / Google Drive for cross-functional team access. - Continuous Improvement: - Analyzing wearer trials and product returns. - Recommending fit block refinements and new pattern solutions to enhance comfort, mobility, and travel-friendly features. For this role, you are required to have: - Education: Diploma/Degree in Apparel Technology, Fashion Technology, or equivalent. - Experience: 7-12 years as a Fit/Pattern Technician in menswear with experience in multi-category fashion retailers. - Technical Mastery: Advanced pattern making, grading, and marker planning both manually and using CAD. - Strong knowledge of knit & woven constructions, performance blends, stretch & recovery. - Expertise in spec-sheet creation, grading rules, and tolerance setting. - Familiarity with FPT & GPT standards, lab protocols, and root-cause analysis. - Experience in consumption optimization and cost engineering. - Tools: Proficiency in Gerber/AccuMark, Lectra, Optitex or similar software; Excel/Google Sheets; PLM systems such as Centric, Enovia, etc. - Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong technical communication skills (verbal & written), vendor coaching ability, analytical mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.,
