Associate Credit Manager - Commercial Vehicle

Job Description: As a Credit Manager-Commercial Vehicle in the Retail Underwriting department, you will be responsible for managing a team and collaborating with the sales team to achieve targets in the assigned area. Your primary task will involve assessing the creditworthiness of consumers, completing verifications, and adhering to company credit policies. Your approach to these responsibilities should be both sales-supportive and risk-averse, aligning with the broader organizational goals of the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Underwrite Commercial Vehicle and Construction Equipment loan proposals in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet SLAs and manage area business volumes effectively. - Engage in personal discussions with customers to evaluate their creditworthiness. Additional Responsibilities: - Manage the portfolio effectively. Managerial and Leadership Duties: - Foster cooperation among the Sales, technology, analytics, and risk teams to ensure seamless business operations. - Collaborate with the Policies team to ensure all decisions are made within the prescribed framework.
