Role Overview

Associate Consultant – EMC Isilon (SME)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve escalations related to

  EMC Isilon

  within defined SLAs and quality standards.
• Mentor, guide, and support team members in troubleshooting best practices and operational processes.
• Develop, update, and maintain

  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  and technical process documentation.
• Review and validate change requests while ensuring compliance with

  human-error prevention frameworks

  .
• Participate in

  capacity planning

  , performance tuning, and optimization activities.
• Engage with customers to gather insights, address service feedback, and drive continuous improvements.
• Conduct

  root cause analysis (RCA)

  , trend analysis, and prepare detailed operational and management reports.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in

  EMC Isilon

  storage technologies and related operational workflows.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex incidents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Understanding of

  capacity planning, change management, and IT operations frameworks

• Experience creating and managing

  technical documentation, SOPs, and process workflows

Preferred Certifications

• EMC Isilon Certification

  (Highly advantageous)

• ITIL Foundation Certification
