Associate Category Management

As an Associate Category Management, you will be responsible for managing product categories, analyzing market trends and developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability. You will work closely with brands, sales teams and other stakeholders to ensure the right products are available to meet customer demands. Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within assigned product categories. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions regarding inventory levels and product assortment. Develop category plans and promotional strategies to drive sales and optimize product mix. Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotions with brands to achieve competitive advantage and maximize profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives and support overall business objectives. Monitor and track performance of category management initiatives, and make adjustments as needed to achieve targets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 1-4 years of experience in category management, retail or related industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.
