Job Description

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022). Manage AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Log Shipping, Replication, and Clustering. Ensure proper backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures. Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning. Provide L3-level technical support for critical incidents and complex SQL issues. Perform RCA and implement preventive solutions. Support escalation management and collaborate with L2 support. Develop automation scripts. Automate daily maintenance tasks, health checks, and patching activities. Integrate automation with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins). Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates. Conduct query optimization, index management, and database tuning. Analyze performance counters and identify bottlenecks. Implement best practices for performance and resource utilization. Manage authentication, authorization, encryption, and auditing.
