Associate - Analytics & Business Insights

Roles & Responsibilities Displays structured problem-solving skills and applies the appropriate tools and techniques to solve open-ended problems, creating productized analytics solutions or frameworks independently. Understands business and product problems and devises deep, data-backed solutions. Conducts root cause analysis and deep dive analysis of specific product issues. Runs and maintains the reporting system, presenting actionable insights in weekly forums. Builds templates and dashboards in Excel or on internal platforms for operational and management reporting. Extracts data as requested by the business team for ad hoc analysis. Demonstrates strong business analysis and understanding to contextualize insights. Evaluates metrics to track as per business goals and explores other metrics for a deeper understanding of product performance. Mentors data analysts on day-to-day analysis tasks and upskilling opportunities. Works efficiently in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple projects with varying complexity and detail. Proficient in Python to automate reporting tasks, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency. Desired Skills and Experience: 1-2 years working with large data sets and conducting quantitative analysis. Some understanding of Statistics and prior experience of building statistical models (e.g. hypothesis testing, product experimentation, A/B Testing, regressions). Excellent knowledge SQL and intermediate knowledge of data manipulation language such as R / Python Previous experience with working on ecommerce funnels, retention Ability to think through product and business metrics to assess product features Knowledge of business modelling and basic knowledge of financial metrics, would be a bonus Quick learner and ability to work in dynamic work environment Team player and comfortable interacting with people from multiple disciplines Established expertise in designing new dashboards, identifying the right metrics, layout; displays proficiency in building dashboards on Power BI using best practices and intuitive Qualifications Bachelors in engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute
