Job Description

As a Purchase Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, releasing, and following up on purchase orders based on requested demands and negotiated prices. Your timely actions will ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will also be in charge of checking unprocessed purchase requisitions and maintaining purchasing data in the ERP system, such as info-records, source lists, and lead times to facilitate timely and accurate processing of purchase orders. Managing order confirmations from suppliers, including manual maintenance, will be part of your daily tasks. You will serve as the first interface to suppliers for clarifications regarding deviating order confirmations, such as prices, quantities, and dates. Regularly checking overdue, non-confirmed, and open purchase orders and collaborating with relevant departments for rescheduling will be essential. Your responsibilities will also include managing supplier invoices and clarifying any deviations, preparing process descriptions, and daily maintenance of KPI reports and trackers, along with creating other operational reports. You will closely cooperate with specialist fields, Strategic Procurement/Global Purchasing, accounting department, Material Planning, Engineering, and Plant SCM operations. To qualify for this role, you should have a graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent, or a postgraduate degree in any stream, with 2-3 years of experience for Masters or Bachelors. Your skills should include purchasing exposure in Manufacturing or Electrical Industry or shared service center, domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management, reporting and analysis, PO and Supply Management, Order Management, Master Data Management, and proficiency in ERPs, IT Applications, and CRM Application. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are also crucial for this role. You should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint, effective communication, presentation, and listening skills. Proficiency in the German language will be preferred. High learning agility, a customer-centric approach, CI mindset, escalation management, solution provider, effective collaboration, and people agility are essential traits for success in this position.,
