Position: Assistant Works Manager

Location: Coimbatore & Chettipalayam

Reporting to: Cluster Head – Service, Coimbatore

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience: 5–8 years in relevant field

Salary Range: ₹3.0 – ₹4.32 LPA

Job Summary:

Assist in managing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient vehicle servicing, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality standards in repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Workshop Operations: Supervise day-to-day workshop activities; ensure timely and quality service delivery.

* Team Management: Coordinate and guide technicians, mechanics, and apprentices; support training and skill development.

* Resource & Equipment Management: Ensure availability and proper use of tools, machinery, and manpower.

* Service Monitoring: Oversee repair and maintenance work to maintain high performance and safety standards.

* Customer Service: Assist in handling customer queries, preparing service estimates, and resolving complaints professionally.

* Scheduling: Manage technician shifts and workflow to ensure smooth workshop operations.
