Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President, Fraud Operations at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the offshoring strategy, implementing strategic initiatives, and contributing towards the overall goals of the SCC Operations in the UK Business sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with senior leadership, global stakeholders, and businesses to support offshoring strategy and implement strategic initiatives - Maintaining engagement with various teams for proper capacity planning and forecasting to right size the Operations team - Collaborating with Fraud and SCC Operations teams to ensure optimal process performance and error/defect analysis - Identifying performance improvement opportunities and delivering training programs to enhance process and service quality - Supporting the delivery of global and regional initiatives by driving standardization of product, process, systems, and operational models - Developing and implementing metrics, scorecards, and status reports to track operational performance You will also be responsible for: - Exhibiting a customer-centric mindset and delivering excellent customer experience - Being the Ops Point of Contact for new migrations, pilots, and expansion in scope & coverage for GSCs - Maintaining effective engagement with stakeholders, peers, and various teams to ensure appropriate support architecture - Leading the team of First- & Second-Line Managers and acting as a positive role model for the SCC Fraud Ops - Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements - Managing Fraud risk, regulatory, and reputational risks within the function - Continuously reassessing operational risks and implementing internal controls To be successful in this role, you should have: - A degree in any discipline and relevant work experience - People management experience to handle large/matrix teams across locations - Strong leadership and relationship management skills - Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and deliver results within tight deadlines - Experience in a high volume environment with minimal supervision - Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and excellent reporting and tracking skills - Strong team player, motivator, and ability to operate effectively across cultures Join HSBC and make a real impact in the banking and financial services industry.
