Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President - Corporate Onboarding at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in managing operations within a business area, maintaining processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end onboarding process for corporate clients, working directly with Relationship Managers and sales teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to conduct due diligence. You will also be expected to stay updated with evolving regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for corporate clients, including document collection, due diligence, and system setup. - Work directly with Relationship Managers and sales teams to ensure accurate transfer of client requirements and expectations. - Ensure all client information is captured, processed, and stored according to company policies and regulatory standards. - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the onboarding process. - Ensure corporate onboarding complies with regulatory and legal requirements such as KYC, AML, and other relevant compliance frameworks. - Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams to conduct thorough due diligence and ensure risk factors are properly addressed. - Stay updated with evolving regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance during the onboarding process. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong understanding of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology. - Experience in Wholesale Onboarding initiatives including KYC processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution. - Ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather Customer Due Diligence information and onboard clients in line with documented policy. - Proven track record in identifying areas for improvement, providing recommendations for change, and implementing procedures and controls. - Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with internal senior stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to analyze data from multiple sources and solve problems creatively and effectively.
