Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the bookkeeping team.
  • Communicate directly with clients to resolve inquiries and provide updates on financial matters.
  • Supervise team members to ensure the timely completion of financial tasks, including reconciling accounts, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior bookkeepers and assist in resolving complex bookkeeping issues.
  • Develop and implement best practices and processes for the team to improve productivity, accuracy, and franchise-specific financial reporting.
  • Review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements, for accuracy and compliance in accordance with US GAAP and franchise-specific financial practices.
