Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager at Treat Hotels & Resorts, a Hospitality division of Mundra Group, based in the Western Part of India with 7 operating Hotels & Resorts, your primary responsibilities will include: - Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel. - Clear understanding of the hotel's business strategies to set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals. - Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly. - Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales. - Represent Hotels in various events and exhibitions. - Implement all sales action plans related to your market areas as outlined in the marketing plan. - Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients. - Provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long-term business relationships. - Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business. - Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked. - Support the hotel's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. - Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels. - Develop strong relationships with the on-property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals. - Accompany the sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in the development of the account and to assess the effectiveness and sales skills of the salesperson. - Attend all department and hotel meetings as necessary. - Target key accounts potential for the company. - Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. - Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities. - Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. - Acquire and develop new business accounts and prepare sales proposals for clients. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, or a related field. - 4 years of Hotel/Hospitality Industry Experience is a must. - Working experience as an Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Assistant, or a similar role in the Sales Department. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools. - Knowledge and experience using effective sales strategies. - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Good oral and written communication skills. - Excellent leadership skills. - Ability to make timely decisions. - Strong sales and people skills.
